Volunteer

Join a North Scottsdale Chamber Committee today!

Volunteers are the heart and soul of any Chamber of Commerce, and the North Scottsdale Chamber’s volunteers are no different. Our Volunteer Committees provide great outlets for you to serve the Chamber and your business community. Below is a list of our Committees for 2013, and our Chairs and Vice Chairs.

We need your expertise, your ideas, your products, your services, and a little of your most valuable resource – your time.

Meet and network with your fellow NSCC members, while giving back to the Chamber and our local business community.

For more information on how you can become a member of a Chamber Committee, please contact Chamber Event Coordinator Molly Brown at (480) 889-8987.

Ambassadors Committee

The Ambassador Committee is the core volunteer committee of the Chamber. Ambassadors serve as the welcoming arm of the North Scottsdale Chamber by greeting guests at networking events, calling on new members after those members join the Chamber, and thanking our renewing members for sticking with us. Ambassadors assist with ribbon cutting ceremonies, our weekly Chamber networking events, community awareness, and provide information on Chamber activities and events to new and established Chamber members. Ambassadors meet monthly the first Wednesday of the month immediately following the Chamber’s monthly networking breakfast. Chair, Cathy Rommes – RC Consulting. Vice Chair, Jodi Towns – Lifescape Premier.

Breakfast Committee

The Breakfast Committee organizes monthly Chamber breakfast events at local restaurants. The Committee works with our Chamber’s Event Coordinator to provide fun, exciting networking activities, and when appropriate updates on other Chamber activities and events, and occasionally, an educational component. The Breakfast Committee meets monthly after each networking breakfast. Chairs, Brad Bellar – Signs By Tomorrow, and Diana Adams – Tree of Life Chiropractic.

Golf Committee

The Golf Committee organizes and promotes the Chamber’s Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament. The Chamber is a non-profit, and like other community non-profits, must raise funds to offset operating costs. The Chamber’s Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament is a great vehicle for the Chamber to raise funds. You do not have to like golf to have fun organizing and participating in the event. Chair – Kevin Lustig – Northcentral University.

Ribbon Cutting Committee

The Ribbon Cutting Committee helps organize North Scottsdale Chamber Ribbon Cutting events in coordination with Chamber Event Coordinator, Molly Brown. Chair, Jessica Emes Martinez

Education Committee

The Education Committee is forming in short order with a specific purpose in mind. If you are interested in being on the Chamber’s Education Committee, please call the Chamber office today at (480) 889-8987.
